Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Climax Solutions ("Climax," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit climax.com.bd or get in touch with us. We're a design, web, and performance studio based in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh, working with clients locally and internationally.

We aim to handle your information in line with the Bangladesh Personal Data Protection Ordinance, 2025 (as amended) and, where they apply to you, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR.

This policy covers our own website only. When we deliver work on a client's website or systems, any data collected there is handled under that client's own privacy policy, not this one.

Information you give us. When you complete our contact or project-brief forms, we collect your name, email, company (if you add it), and whatever you choose to tell us in your message or brief. If you email or call us, we keep that correspondence so we can help you.

Information we collect automatically. When you browse the site, we and our analytics tools collect usage data — pages viewed, approximate location (country or city level), device and browser type, referring source, and how you move through the site. This is gathered through cookies and similar technologies (see section 4).

We don't intentionally collect sensitive information (such as financial, health, or biometric data). Please don't send anything like that through our forms.

We use the information we collect to:

• respond to your inquiries and project briefs, and prepare proposals and deliver our services — on your request and in our legitimate interest in running our business;
• operate, maintain, and improve the website and our content — in our legitimate interest;
• measure and improve our marketing, including analytics and advertising — in our legitimate interest;
• send you updates only where you've opted in, which you can stop at any time — with your consent;
• meet our legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies — some essential for the site to work, and others that help us understand how the site is used and measure our marketing.

The tools we use are:

• Google Tag Manager — to manage the tags below.
• Google Analytics 4 — to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site so we can improve it.
• Meta Pixel — to measure and (in future) target our advertising on Meta platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.

You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of these providers directly — for example with Google Analytics' browser opt-out add-on or your Google and Meta ad-settings controls. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work. For details on how these providers handle data, see Google's and Meta's own privacy policies.

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• service providers who help us run the site and our business — for example our hosting provider, analytics and advertising platforms (Google, Meta), and email tools — and only as far as they need it to do their job;
• authorities or professional advisors, where we're required to by law or need to protect our legal rights.

Where these providers operate outside Bangladesh, see section 6.

We're based in Bangladesh, and some of our providers (such as Google, Meta, and our hosting) process data on servers in other countries, including the United States and within the European Union. When personal data moves across borders, we rely on those providers' own safeguards and the legal protections that apply to keep it secure.

We keep personal information only as long as we need it:

• Form and inquiry data: generally up to 24 months after our last contact. If you become a client, we keep records for as long as the engagement and any legal or tax obligations require.
• Analytics data: kept according to our analytics provider's retention setting (usually around 14 months).

When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data. Under the Bangladesh Personal Data Protection Ordinance, 2025 and, where it applies to you, the EU/UK GDPR, these can include the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• correct anything inaccurate;
• ask us to delete it;
• restrict or object to how we use it;
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing we did before;
• receive your data in a portable format; and
• complain to a data protection authority — for EU/UK residents, your local supervisory authority (such as the UK's Information Commissioner's Office).

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and trusted infrastructure — to protect your information. No website or method of transmission is ever completely secure, so we can't promise absolute security, but we work to keep risks low and to act quickly if something goes wrong.

Our website and services aren't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think a child has given us their information, contact us and we'll delete it.

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The current version, with its "last updated" date, will always be on this page, and we'll make any significant changes clear.
